Problems with Network In p2009

A friend of mine has a problem with the network in P2009.

Let me explain:
We have a pc which is connected to the internet with a cable. There is no router so he's directly connected with a Modem. when we set up the Network in 'network manager' after we used p2009 for the first time, the Internet works fine. But when we restart the pc It doesn't automatacly connect. So we checked what the problem was, and noticed that there were 2 devices ( Eth0 and Eth1). Sometimes The internet works with Eth0 and sometimes it works with Eth1. But now, a few days after the installation it doesn't work at all.  While in windows it works fine.

When we checked :

As you can see the problem is the Mac-adres (Invalid Mac address detected: 43:8b:71:31:17:00).
But we don't know how to solve it.

Anyone who knows the problem ??

Hello folks ,I had a few network problems as I am new to Pardus . Just in case -check  nework manager in system settings and see if the small box is ticked .When I ticked it, it connected straight away. good luck . Rob Whiteside
