Hello!  Smiley

I try to make full hungarian locale in Pardus.

1. Install base "hu" packages: pisi update-repo && pisi it glibc-locales-hu kde-l10n-hu gimp-i18n-hu

2. I set "HU" by default system language in System Manager:

3.I modifity profile.env file in /etc directory. I rewrite "export LANGUAGE" && "export LC_ALL" to hu_HU.utf8

Restart my system, and i see "unkown language options "hu"" during the boot.

Open Terminal, and i typing "locale" command, all line set hu_HU.utf8, except "LANGUAGE" (this line is leer).

My Question: Is this correct method to set hungarian locale?  Huh? I dont want harm to my system. Tongue

Best regards and thanks for your help!

You don't have to edit /etc/profile.env. It is done automatically.

Selecting your language :
(1) in the configuration center > Region & Language> country & language
(2) in system-manager

should be sufficient, provided all the localized pakages have been installed (search for "hu" in package-manager to list them)

Hi! Smiley

Thanks for your answer, but systemsetting > Region & Language> country & language have no effect on base locale, and hungarian isn't official supported language in Pardus (system manager have no effect too), so i edit the profile.env file >> that's work for me as yet...  Tongue

Best regards!
