Please note that my above post covers a different version (0.7.33) and since then have changed build files (see Michiel post above).
Thanks for this info......   and I should have payed more attention to my results.

And from I can re-construct the previous version except for playground/sdalgic/2011/office/misc/calibre/files/calibre-0.7.27-python-fix.patch = deleted.

But I have a 14/04/2011 version on my local disk Grin

So there is a remarkable difference with your result

As I mentioned, diffrent version (0.7.33 mine, 07.57 yours)

But I have a 14/04/2011 version on my local disk Grin

I see no reason to play with the previous version.
Hopefully Calibre will be in the official repository soon.

This means there is a difference between "su -" and "sudo" Embarrassed

In this case, yes.


With su - (opposite to sudo) you don't lost root privileges during build process like below.

I see no reason to play with the previous version.

Above is for me runtime dependency problem.
I didn't write any solution for them.
