[solved] Desktop themes in Pardus 2009.2 Beta not working.

I made a DVD yesterday with 2009.2 Beta to give it a try. Must things seems to work.
But when I want to replace the "Air Theme" who as set as standard to "Oxygen" for example it are not possible to change  it.
The "verkställ" button down at the right corner remains white.
I can see other themes pre-installed when I go in to the system settings, Oxygen, Open Glow etc..

I wrote a bug report of it to:

Would be interesting to know if it works for someone else here to change the themes in the beta version.

It is working just fine for me, I think you are trying to do it the wrong way.
What you are about to do is to change the individual component settings inside a theme.
You cant Apply/Verkställ because you just selected a theme, but you did not change it.

Go to Systeminställningar/Utseende/Stil/Arbetesyta to change it the way you want to.

Well if I click at "Elegant glöd" its change all things to "Elegant glöd" in färgschema, panelbakgrund, kick off and the other things in the left menu to at once.
Same if I click at "Oxygen" all things changes to oxygen.
So I need not to do any adjustments there, on the left side below:

But when I want to save it and click on the "verkställ" button it not working. The button is white and not save the changes so it remain on the pre-installed Luft/Air theme.
I have tryed different options but it not working. In Pardus 2009.1 it was no problem for me to change themes.

You are selecting a theme for editing, you are not telling the desktop to use a specific theme.

So I need not to do any adjustments there, on the left side below:

It's working, if you really do edit a theme.

But I think its a lot to demand for a ordinary PC to know how to do this.

Sometimes Gnome/Ubuntu looks old, but in thoose matters its more easy to know how to do changes without to be a professional developer.

KDE4 is not so easy to know and find out. Much inconsistent things seems to be built in in the system.

I suppose its correct. But I think it was a mistake to remove the "Tasma" from the previous Pardus versions. It was the best thing with Pardus I think:

PCLinuxOS have a similar menu as Tasma and its make a lot more easy to do specifics settings for a user.

But anyway, thanks for the help. I know how do do this now.
