I have a TV USB TUNER;

Code:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 07ca:a827 AVerMedia Technologies, Inc.

Please help. I have a problem with the driver installation the TV card Avermedia A VOLARE HX 827 The driver is a file type. Sh. Once it starts, you receive a message that the package "kernel-devel" or "kernel-headers' is not installed. I installed the packages, kernel-source, gcc, make, I made a symbolic link" linux "to the kernel source directory Nevertheless, the installer displays the driver me a message that the directory / lib / modules / kernel name / build / does not exist. I checked, so there is a link directory to the directory "kernel-headers." I have not installed package kernel-headrs but the package kernel-source Please help, why installer driver, AVerMedia TV card does not see the installed kernel source packages

Hello,

I would recommend you also install the kernel-headers.  Wink

If it still does not work, you should write a bug report.

Greetings

hi, if it is dvb then do:
Code:
dmesg | grep -i dvb
if it is just usb then do
Code:
lsusb

then google your output or have a look into the great ubuntu-knowledge-universe
maybe you just have to do what i had to which was to find the right software (ubuntu, helped out)

Then they said in a wiki to copy your firmware to:
Code:
/lib/firmware/

so post the output of lsusb
