Hi,
As you may already know, Pardus Corporate 2 switched to the new pisi (version
2.4) which required a mass rebuild of all the packages. The mass rebuild is
now complete both for x86_64 and i686 repositories.
Until today, the x86_64 repository was hosted by Canakkale University at
http://x86-64.comu.edu.tr. If you are a user of Pardus Corporate 2 x86_64,
when you update your system *two times consecutively*, you will transparently
migrate to the new package repository hosted in TUBITAK/UEKAE.
Seen that i686 (e.g. 32-bit) has much more users, we don't provide any
transparent migration way for the i686 repository until it's aggressively
tested. If you want to test the migration, you can change your repository
address to:
http://packages.pardus.org.tr/corporate2-yeni/pisi-index.xml.bz2and then update your system *two times consecutively*. You'll receive a
massive amount of updates as all the packages on your system will be
reinstalled with the new ones.
Please report back any issue you encounter during the migration.
Thanks for your patience,
---
