........ how can I install the Linux drivers (debian?) that I have downloaded from their site?
Can you supply a link to this ^^^ site
No direct link because they use javascript to download the files.

Asus.com and then you go to Download
choose
Select Product "Multimedia"
Select Series "TV-Tuner"
Select Models "My Cinema-U3100Mini/DVBT
Then search and choose Linux as OS
Then VGA and the driver I downloaded was:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.2
Description USB linux driver for U3000 Mini DVBT and U3100 Mini DVBT
Only support ASUS U3000 Mini DVBT /U3100 Mini DVBT
--------------------------------------------------------------
That was the manual that came with the stick.
I tried to install the driver as was in the manual.
This was what happened:
R60-FV EeePC-TVDrv-U3000-1.2 # ./install_u3000
./install_u3000: line 3: dpkg: command not found
