Then the only option is to add the additional information
If I try to validate, or choose any other partitioning option besides "Use All Space", it throws an exception and I can't continue. Also, I cannot capture and send the backtrace.
The live version:
Doesn't boot. Can't remember the details at the moment.
and
into http://bugs.pardus.org.tr/show_bug.cgi?id=14853 and be known at the right place/people.

It's also possible to try one of the nightly builds.

Are there any mirrors? This server is extremely slow and at the moment it can't even keep a connection for more than about 20 seconds.
and
Well, my connection got a lot better after a few hours and I was able to download the files. Smiley
I expect and hope that http://liste.pardus.org.tr/pardus-users/2010-October/000652.html is the solution to the above problems Wink

Maybe there is a better place to post this but I am a little concerned...

I have tested Pardus 2011 beta and I think it looks promising but the biggest problem to me is the switch to KNetworkManager from the network-manager custom package written exclusivly for Pardus.

If they are seriously switching to KNetworkManager I think this is a big mistake.

I have been using Linux for the past 7 years and I have yet to see a better network manager than the one in Pardus 2009 and our school runs Pardus 2009.2 on all of our student laptops and I can't imagine life without the native connection manager especially for wireless networks...

Please don't get rid of such an amazing feature! I think I need to post this somewhere else where the Pardus devs will actually see it...

Edit:

Actually I'm confused now because the package that is on 2011 is called NetworkManager and the url that is shown in Package Manager is projects.gnome.org/NetworkManager yet it looks nothing like the gnome network manager...

Thank you for the news.  I'm finally downloading this Beta version as it is available for more than a night which allows me to download it.  Using wget, the download is going smoothly and look forward to trying it out.  I'm sure the folks that maintain the Pardus servers are saying, "yes, must be that silly lady from Arkansas who has dial-up".  Grin

2011 install fails for me with a python error " partition not found" - no mention of which partition was not found. Traceback output was given with no option to save or upload, just an option to reboot. If I have time later I'll use a pen and paper. This error has been cropping up with all of the 2011 builds.

At this moment Pardus 2011 Beta2 is installing on an already existing partition on my testcomputer.
So I didn't get the above error.
Which option did you select for partitioning

No partitions were selected -  the installer failed immediately after selecting the time zone.
