I have write a bug report included a screenshot how it goes when try to set time and date settings to automatic:


Have any one here tryed if it works properly? Smiley

I also get "Unable to authenticate/execute the action: 6." in System Settings > Date & Time.  Embarrassed

Hi John A.
Yes, I get the same result, too.  I even tried adding ntp-server from package manager, and also edited user manager in system settings and added ntp group to my user, but continue to get,
"Unable to contact time server: Public Time Server (pool.ntp.org)." Same output if I choose any of the other time servers.

If I try doing this as root and enter root password, I get:
"Unable to authenticate/execute the action: 7, DBus Backend error: could not contact the helper. Connection error: . Message error: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
