Nice. I think it got most of the things a ordinary user want with that. So you can compare it with any other distribution. But I still wait for Gyache Improved be added to the repo.

I find it in repo/devel/i686/ and repo/devel/x86_64/ with dd 24-Mar-2011 15:52 You can install this one at this moment and report back your results in Bug 8029If it isn't doing the job you can always remove it through Package Manger. In this way all files will be removed from your system. Or wait till it goes through the evaluation process and appears in the final repo.

After logout>login of KDE it's in my Menu > Graphics > gscan2pdf And there is a file /usr/share/applications/gscan2pdf.desktop with: Categories=Graphics;Scanning; Hmm ... I have the same .desktop file but nothing on the menu (traditional, not Kickoff or Lancelot).i [Later addition/edit] I'm writing this from an elderly Compaq AMD64 Turion laptop on which the menu item appeared immediately upon installation of gscan. I've decided that it must be an issue with my machine (64-bit Dual AMD64 6000+, 4G memory, ATI Radeon 4650 with 1G, the HD a rather old Maxtor 80G IDE), especially since I had both the main and devel repos open for a good long while -- not a good thing, as I found out trying to update the other night. So I'm presently making another installation on the 6000+, hoping that the glitch will not be present with better attention to the open repos. [Even later] And that new installation provided a nice gscan2pdf icon on the Graphics menu immediately after I installed it from the Developer Repo. Yes, I immediately unchecked that repo!
