I think Pardus should have a option for online backup and storage. Like dropbox or Ubuntu one. And it seems like Spideroak works with many Linux distributons. I have write a request for it: http://bugs.pardus.org.tr/show_bug.cgi?id=17348I hope they can do a package that works for Pardus: https://spideroak.com/

Dropbox is in the repository. Owncloud is also something I'd like to see in Pardus. It's actually a part of KDE and is open source. http://owncloud.org/index.php/Main_Page

@Craig: About OpenCloud - what is so hard to do that: Download, unzip and place owncloud in a subdirectory of your web server. Go to that directory with a web browser and the first run wizard should take it from there. Check out config/config.sample.php for details if you want to set config.php manually.

Yes, I see now that I set one up at packagecloud https://www.packagecloud.com/?au=owncloudMaybe you only need one good one anyway!
True but choice is always good.

Actually, it looks like someone has already added SpiderOak to pardususer.de here.

Craig write in a comment above that Dropbox is in the repository. But I can not find it in the 2011 version?

A tip is to store photos, documents etc... in SkyDrive: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Live_SkyDriveYou get 25GB for free. Thats not so bad. In DropBox you get 2 gb for free. And in Ubuntu One its the same. Not all is so bad with Microsoft.
