The last time I noticed, we had over 1300 members. Now there are 600. Do memberships auto-expire after a certain amount of inactivity or something?

I can't find any reference to it.

Yes I deleted 1/3 to 1/2 of ghost members that had not logged in for over 2 years anymore and ahd posted 0 or 1 post. I was quite shocked how many ghost-members there were over here.

Sometiems you need to clean up.

Anybody always welcome to return and re-register of course.

Thanks for the update.

Two years is a very long time to be inactive. One year seems more reasonable.

Maybe that member issue has something to do with the introduction of KDE4. I'd love to use KDE4 but it is way too bloated in a Vista way and some of the familiar and amazing apps from KDE3 has not yet ported to KDE4.

I was going to advice Pardus to release out-of-box Gnome version, but now Gnome is heading toward ridiculousness as well.

Probably you guys could release the Xfce version straight out of the box (while Xfce is still sane)?

I mean Pardus has one of the best font rendering and probably is the number one in the neatness and simplicity of its desktop. Most of Xfce distro out there are not very good in font rendering (except Ubuntu and Mint), and having to install Xfce after installing KDE4 version is cumbersome and beat the purpose of being lightweight as well.

Oh how nice!

How come it never announced in a more public forum?
Anyway I have contacted Ladislav Bodnar of Distrowatch about this. I hope he takes a notice of this XFCE version.

I have used XFCE since the day it was released. It works very well as expected. Pardus is now at 28 on DistroWatch's list. That is up from 42 a few short months ago. Smiley The word is getting around.
