Not that I recall.. I am just doing a "copy" with a "paste into" in Dolphin, I did not see a verify option. Just seems odd that I would need to copy multiple smaller chunks of files just to get them all copied. I can copy the same drive in Windows or Mac with no issues.
Here's a question: When an os is dealing with that many files to copy it will go and, if this is the correct word, catalog the files to copy. What if in my case it is to many.. as in, were does this file copy list get stored? The clipboard, the swap file, ram.. Maybe I am grasping at straws here but.

It can take Windows/Mac a long while with this mp3 collection to "cataloge" all the files it needs to copy when told to do so but in Pardus it seems to just start copying right away then after a while it stops with 75% or so still not copied - no errors.
