Could someone direct me to some king of guide about how to set up ad-hoc (PC to PC) LAN connections between pardus2011&winXP? Where can I set computer name and workgroup name on Pardus, to begin with?

As a start, have a in the >Wiki: Configuration of network between Pardus and WindowsXP<
And in the very near future I will modify this Wiki for P2011
The majority of P2009 should also work for P2011.

Something doesn't work. Both my computers say they're connected to the network but they can't see each other. I have IP assigned for each, they are in the same workgroup, yet I cannot connect. I would like to transfer files from the pardus 2011 machine to the XP machine, but it cannot be found by IP address or at network places... what am I doing wrong?
