Which laptop to buy?

In the future I would like to buy a loptop, on which I would like to put Pardus as OS. Who has experience with Pardus on a laptop? And which brands have proven to be superior running Pardus?

I'm using Acer TravelMate 4000 series with 3 little problems; to view battery status you need to renew dsdt table, can't use wlan and bluetooth lights, can't use quick access buttons (not a serious problem).

On the other hand, %80 of Official Pardus Team uses various models of Sony Vaio

I'm using Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook with intel graphics card. It works perfectly with Pardus. I mean really perfect! all features work...

I wish I could buy it without Windows, would at least make it 50 euro cheaper....

Do you ever read the license agreement? May be it is possible to refund if you do not want to use MS Windows. Certainly it is possible in the USA. (but very difficult)

It's not about license agreement (its original name is EULA), it's about laptop's manufacturer, some manufacturers give you opportunity to choose your o.s.

As I said before, it works so well on my inspiron 6000, and I think it will do as well with inspiron 1300 configuration. Only thing I didn't like about 1300 is its black case. Inspiron 6000 has a silver case having multimedia buttons on front, from which you can control amarok and volume

It is all about license agreement (EULA: End User License Agreement).  In the USA it says you can refund it. But I am not sure about Dutch version.
