I write a bug report for some time ago, it was about that the repository from Pardus 2009.2 take so long time to be merged to the 2011 version:
http://bugs.pardus.org.tr/show_bug.cgi?id=17706It's not a request for new packages.
Like Licq (ICQ) for example, who was in the Pardus repo before. But they don't seem to know how to deal with this issue if you read at the latest comments. My suggestion is that they just transfer
all applications who was in Pardus 2009.2 to the current 2011 version.
Thats the normal way for all other Linux distributions to.
It be difficult if you must write a seperate bug report/request for all that you missing from 2009. I did one for the Licq but it not happend much anyway:
http://bugs.pardus.org.tr/show_bug.cgi?id=16371Me and many other have been patient. But it's a limit to of course. If they are not able to deal with this issues in the long run people will just change distribution.
If they are to few people to maintain a Pisi repository maybe Pisi is not the correct choise for Pardus?
Maybe they must look more at LSB:
