Athlon6000 ~ # pisi lr

If I try to substitute 2011.1 for 2011 in any of the above URLs, I get an error in package manager. There is no valid URL I can find with 2011.1 in the name, which is apparently what Freebird found out, too. Huh?

My conclusion, then, is that the 2011 repos continue for 2011.1. I do not know how to find out how many packages there are in the repos I use, so that information does not help me. I see the command
Code:
pisi la
but I'm not going to count the lines that are generated to find out. Surely there is another way.

Thanks to all,
David

Yes, I was sleepy, having driven many miles during the day.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for the hint, Atolboo; I should have thought of that strategy.

OK perhaps this is  a dumb question, but I see the list of updated files for Pardus  here:

http://paketler.pardus.org.tr/info/2011/devel/binaries.html

But I see no way of downloading them.  Any answers? Specifically, the ATI 11.8 drivers. The repositories only have 11.3. Since I have am A6-3400 with 6720g ideo I need the latest drivers to function properly

TIA for any help!!!

Thanks...a little modification and I got it loaded. Unfortunately, though the drivers are shown on the website as being there, Package Manager still shows the 11.3 video drivers.

Add devel repo to package manager then it shows the 11.8 video drivers.
Look here.
