Is this necessary for a Linux system? You can clean the files from Mozilla Firefox:
http://techie-buzz.com/featured/cleanup-temporary-cached-files-in-firefox.html

It's many opinions in this matter:

But maybe some other can more about this than me. Smiley

bleachbit is available in pardususer.de 2011 repo.

How to add this repo you find here.

just to give it a try, i already had bleachbit installed from the same link a.palius provided.
wasn' t sure though how 2011.1 would react on that, but it went just fine.

on bleachbit i only can give my personal point of view:
to me it' s a very useful tool which i use in almost every distro, even in those i need to work with.
it cleans way more than some web browser 'left overs'. it also cleans up caches, history of used programs, logs, old and backup files i don' t need, obsolete languages, a.s.o.

one should however use it with certain precaution and take the warnings it gives seriously. doing so, i never encountered any problems.

so i would like to be able to install it from the default pardus repository (no, it' s no hassle to add a second repo and install it from there  Wink ).

Grin you' re right, again! Grin
have added the repo to the default repo from 2011.1 and everything works out of the box, just like you already posted...

have added them -32 and 64 bit- in the dutch section where the availability of 2011.1 was announced.
share and enjoy  Cheesy
