Online translators are very wrong with Turkey.

I understand that has something to do with education in Turkey and the replacement of Windows on Pardus? Or what?

it is planned to use computer technology more efficiently at school education with pads, smart boards etc...
teachers use smart boards for lessons and students will use pads or computers for interactive lessons instead of books and notebooks. (ofcourse theese are politicians' thoughts. i prefer books and notebooks Smiley).

this project called "fatih". until a few days ago, windows was the prefered OS at the project contract. a few days ago teknokedi.com (unofficial blog of tubitak workers i guess) anounced pardus is the prefered OS instead of windows.

Why do some people think that that "electronic toys" are the answer to education?  If you are old enough, it used to be overhead projectors, 35 mm slides, and/or 8 mm films.  How did people learn before electricity?
