A new Pardus community.

It have been some discussion about a sort of "official" Pardus community and new homepage etc..
And now they have start one:

Keep in mind, that new users can't register themselves. We have to do that,
and till we learn things a bit, we don't want a big mass... "

I suppose in time it will develope more. Now it's still in a early process. But you can write blogs, ideas and so on there.
I have bring up the issue with almost non existing promotion/marketing material in English for example:

Anyway that Pardus got more options for all is fine for me.
And I would be happy to se Atolboo and Alexey there to. I think you could contribute a lot.

I recived a answer on the request about marketing material:

"The problem is that we don't have any graphics designer at the moment
unfortunately"

That's a mystery to.

Who did all the Pardus figures and so on before? Could they not just use some of it?

since this is more or less initiated by you, in several threads, i would like to emphasize the importance of one main pardus forum where english will be the main language.

i'm dealing now with several pardus forums and have to maintain development of some questions in different languages (hardly ever in my native tongue .)

just like on the worldforum one could start country based sub-threads (which is still a risk because of missing important information).

It was a Swedish forum before. But to few members... So I suppose it's best with only one english forum. Official or non official are not the main issue.
But a attractive official website is important to. For general information that are up to date, marketing materials etc..

This forum is fine, the only thing some people complain about are the registration process. A old SMF version to:

But in general it works good.

This seems more like a forum for developers only:

And I am not realy sure why it was created. I guess time will tell.
I often read comment like this in Pardus reviews:

"I recently spent a couple of days running Pardus 2011.2 live from a USB. It worked well, aside from not being allowed to install anything. I’m almost willing to install it (I want to), but I can’t help but wonder where I’ll go should I run into a problem or hardware issue. They don’t seem to have much, in terms of support, for English speakers. I went on the English IRC channel to question the support issue. There were only 3 others in the channel and not one responded. I assume if the issue is Linux related or KDE related I could find help elsewhere, but.."

Somehow people have difficult to find this forum even if it got a link at the official website now.

maybe something listed like:
   (a pardus logo) followed by the forum's name and language would do better, till there's one main pardus starting point / forum / web page?

I never seem to have problems finding a Linux distro's forums. 

I always go to Distrowatch and the Linux distro I am using, and look for the forum or forums listed.  That's how I found this forum.  I don't use IRC channels, or any of those chat like question and answer places.  One, I don't know how, and two, using dial up makes me less inclined to do so.
