[Solved] Gmail additional plugins required message

Fresh install of Pardus 2011.1.  Gmail in Firefox gives me a message that additional plugins are required to display all the media on this page.  Googling seems to indicate this might have something to do with gtalk but I can't figure out what the plugin is that it really wants.  Haven't run across this before.

the plugin Gmail complains about is the GTalk plugin... it is NOT available for any linux as far as I know. Even if I am wrong about it, it's a firefox for linux issue, not an entropy one. Firefox basically tries to install a plugin which enables Google Talk inside your Gmail

If You don´t want to use Google Videochat, then You don´t need to install the plugin available at google (rpm/deb). Of course unfortunately not available as a pisi.

You can disable the message in firefox easily:

btw: You can view all the installed plugins of firefox when You enter
about:plugins     into the address bar. Very impressive when You compare the list with Ubuntu/Kubuntu

The config preference term to look for is now plugins.hide_infobar_for_missing_plugin.  And you make it true.
