I have just the same with FF5.0  but by me it is back when I open certificate again???

I will let you know as soon as I receive the media from my husband. 
I asked him to download it for me as now that he is working (been unemployed for almost two years) he has a fast connection where he lives.  Looking forward to trying 2011.2

you can try another distribution with KDE like OpenSUSE, and with GNOME like Fedora to compare problem.

package nss contains certificates
firefox in Linux distributions is going to use the system nss.
nss now has been updated in the repositories pardus

just update system in package-manager


DigiNotar certificates will be present in browsers. But they will be shutdown confidence and will be reset serial number.

installed the nspr-4.8.9-32-p11-x86_64.pisi and nss-3.12.11-42-p11-x86_64.pisi in 2011.2 (ff 5) and the nasty was gone.

but what about kurumsal 2? updated but nothing new showed up. so my guess is that first 2011.x is being fixed?
hmm, stange thing to do imho when there' s also a corporate version out there?

only about a week ago i had some updates for kurumsal 2, so it's still using ff 3.6.19 (with the certificate from diginotar. even after i deleted it, after a new start it's back   ).

btw. with kurumsal 2, mainly for security and stability reasons, i only use the default repo:

Diginotar in inactive if it doesn't have any markers at "This certificate can ...".
To be checked after a restart of the system.

As far as Diginotar is concerned: Yes.
The removal of Diginotar is not dependent on the version of FF.
This only depends on an update of the package nspr and nss.

I got notified in Package Manager the upgrades were available.  Works fine so far. I did do a logout and relogged in to make sure everything worked ok from that point, but I haven't comletely restarted yet.
