I get the picture as shown below in FF (7.0.1) in P2011 on my Asus Eee PC 1001PXD
And I have Mediaplayerconnectivity 0.9.3 Add-on in FF.
This ^^^ add-on because of this post.

thanks again atolboo, but i'm still using ff5 until ff6 or ff7 arrive in the official pardus repo...  Grin
had both of them just installed on a test os for test purposes (see the well known bug report on the diginotar thingy).

in ff5 it's naging about a mms plug-in and moonlight just won't install . will read the link you provided.

btw. is it legal for public broadcasters to provide only closed source services (i.c. mikrosovt    )

add. 20:50: do you mean the vlc context menu 0.7.2?
attached my installed plug-ins.

..... and moonlight
This isn't a Moonlight problem.
Why don't you install Mediaplayerconnectivity 0.9.3 Add-on in FF and Vlc and see if it brings any changes.
It's always possible to disable Mediaplayerconnectivity. Wink

good morning atolboo,

it worked! did add the boolean as you suggested (see attachment) but, alas, no play...  :'(
but you've pointed me in the right direction: after downloading and editing the mediaplayerconnectivity-0.9.3-fx.xpi file, as seen on your link, it worked.

looks like one doesn't even has to edit about:config (best place of ff and t-bird), nor install vlc player. during the mpc set up one can choose the default installed mm player. maybe quality can be an issue (vlc does a very good job, afaik)?

so i attached the for ff5 modified .xpi too (ldevelopment stopped at 3.9.x?), just remove the .txt at the end and install in ff5.

here the same xpi file but now for ff6.0.2 (ff got updated last night). just remove the _6.txt at the end of the file name so it ends with .xpi again.
