i have a 2011 CD which i want to test but since it has been some time, 2011.2 has already arrived. I hope if i do a complete update i will be on 2011.2?

Also, is there any release cycle for Pardus? What i mean is that when are we expecting the new version and is there a way to upgrade (such as ubuntu offers wherein you can upgrade to the next version with one click, etc.)

After applying all the updates, you will get the latest version (and that is P2011.2 at this moment).

As far as I know, there is no release cycle.
And as far as software permits, Pardus has a rolling release system.
And when this rolling release system can not be continued because of the software, there will be an Upgrade Manager (package) in order to install the next Version.
This is the way it has been up-to-now.

I will try to create PiSi package from the .rpm version Wink
My first remark is that the source code is (apparently) not available.
