But I think the Pardus developers should have some sort of priority list.
What are the 100 most popular Linux applications for example and start from there:

I think that have been Pardus biggest problem in the past, they have not always know what users realy want.

It take very long before they implemented Gyache Improved for example, first request for it was in 2007 and it was in the repository 2011:

And Licq to for the 2011 version:

They are avaible in Pardus now. But I think they should listen to the community/users more in future.

They should do something like arch and chakra has...the aur or ccr....A community repo for people to add what they want or someone else want.....They have this cool feature in pisi the build command and the pisi em command. Just put up build files an people could build that them selfs...That way the devs could concentrate on making pardus better and the users add apps. I hate it when you have to add 10 repos just to get what you want. Like opensuse...add this remove that and add some more. Have stable dev and testin and a community repo...Pardus would be perfect then.
