Every word I type now appears with the red squiggly line under it! Don't know what I did for this to happen.

Country is set to UK, language is set to US English with no obvious way to change it to my locale of UK English. Keyboard layout set to English (UK). Spell checker set to English (UK).

Pic attached.

Any ideas? Is this a bug or a config error on my part?

Yes.
   at the picture I guess it's in the editor of FF Cheesy
If so, right-click in the editor and set it as in my example below

Yes.
