I try to make a report over here:

Analysis:
- In november 2011 some of the (former) developers of Pardus create a Pardus fork on Github
https://github.com/Pardus-Linux. So in that time they did development in the original svn
and in this github. On 16 november 2011 Ozan Çağlayan create a Pardus 3.1.1 kernel. On 5 januari
2012 he create a Pardus 3.2.0 kernel. On 19 januari he create a Pardus 3.2.1 kernel. After that
Ozan stopped with Pardus development (as far i can see it).
- Somewhere in februari 2012 Kaan Akşit fork Pardus on the name Ahal-teke https://github.com/alleph/Ahal-teke
On 2 march 2012 he create a Pardus 3.2.2 kernel and  on 9 march he create a Pardus 3.2.5 kernel.
After that Kaan stopped Ahal-teke and also stopped Pardus development.
- And Anka is based on a combination of Ahal-teke and Pardus. They still use the kernel that Kaan build
http://svn.pardus-linux.org/pardus/2012/kernel/default/kernel/pspec.xml

Questions:
- I do not know much about kernel development, but in my eyes we can create new kernels just the way we
build packages? All we then need todo is watch for patches that are avaliable from Fedora, Opensuse, etc.?
- Pardus is a rolling distribution, so in theory we can update it forever? As long we not changed the gcc version?
- We can keep the 2011.2 as base and fill the repo with updates?
- Why did Ozan and Kaan stopped? And how do we get them back? i think they also loved building Pardus and
packages, and once you love it you will continue it, or not? So how do we get them back?

Maybe altoboo and a.palius can give me some answers, they are the package wizards over here Smiley
