It looks that the Anka group is just very Turkish minded and in some way not want to co-operate with others. This is a pity  Sad.

But somehow I still have some hope, because there are still good people around that if they got the time and co-operate together they can bring a good new distro that will be based on Pardus. Time will tell  Wink.

That is not True.  Anka has closed the doors only to a one idiots lies. and he is a Turk. Anka its closed to  liar clowns.
We are open for all humanity, act only on humanity and humans.

Saludos Comparerors, Parduseros

I get it, however i think that turkish-oriented or not isn't a problem. The important thing is that the system is translated into the major languages, including those supported in pardus 2011.2.

Yes, I wouldn't expect it to be otherwise since it is developed by Turkish folks.  Didn't Pardus start out this way and eventually other languages were added?  Start small then if it is a good product, make it international.  You got to have the product first.

I'm still in waiting mode for Pardus as I still use it 90% of the time, with XP coming in second.  I use Mandriva Rosa, but there are some things I'm trying to find out what is wrong in that distro, and no offense to it, but the screen flickers at bootsplash and also when desktop opens.  It doesn't do that in Pardus.  Plus, I can still install software from the Pardus repos.  When I used the former Hymera and they closed shop, they also closed their servers.   Also, the pardususer.de depot is very valuable to me.  I very much appreciate that they have created packages for us, packages that I can't find created for Mandriva.

somebody here just tell us the 9 millimeters in between:
Just Why?
What's the difference whether you know the steps in between or not?

Does Microsoft ever announce steps in between from Windows X to Windows Y?
No. They announce Windows Y short after they put Windows X into the market. When time is due, they postpone it. At some time later, they give an alpha version to testers. Even later, they give hints to the media. And when the media hype begins to cool down, the put a first version to the market. All business as usual.

So why are you not satisfied with ONE deadline: 30th August? You can't help anyway, all you could perhaps do is disturb the process and delay the result.

...
10) finally, anka (alpha) iso.
not asking for any deadlines, no money, no commitment from anyone. does anybody here have ANY idea about the 9 major steps ahead towards an alpha iso in general?
Yes. Generally, there are no 9 steps. There a 1 to 8 steps, depending on the distribution - unless you count each package, it's making and testing as a single step, then you usually get over 9000. That aside, I don't know how many steps exactly it is for Anka, but in principle it is as follows:
- set up a common development environment. This is rather important!
- create the packages.
- select the packages to put on the iso, while taking inter-package dependencies into account.
- create the iso and make it public, this includes uploading it to a server from where everybody can download it.
Done.
As far as I dare to tell from what I understood from the information I got together, Anka is at least in step 2 now.

i can always find my way around with some click here, some there, a few less or more don't matter to me. there are much more functional, long-time trustworthy, dependable distros out there.
this is no child's game. i run a serious business. no more time to waste. i paid my dues.
For a business, I would recommend either Suse Enterprise Linux (the famous SEL) http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=sle or Red Hat Enterprise Linux anyway, because for the disadvantage that you need to pay for it, you get professional support.
