SolusOS is a Linux distribution based on Debian and is having significant growth  http://solusos.com/

Its creator, Ikey Doherty, is discussing the option of using  pisi packages in its next version, SolusOS 2 Gnome 3.4

think with this that would be a better option to use and become less dependent deb Debian

Link http://main.solusos.com/showthread.php?2425-Idea-for-SolusOS-2

that you think?

I use SolusOS, I think good idea  Smiley

Good news from SolusOS, i hope it will succeed in times. Maybe it also helps to ANKA team and they have a chance to work together to make pisi packages Smiley

Yes one step ahead Smiley
I also opened a topic at ozgurlukicin.org. The ANKA team is also following and communicating.
I hope good news comes earlier...

This is the best news since months!!!!!!

SolusOS (nubmer 19 at distrowatch) is gonna use PISI.

I hope the Anka people join SolusOS, because it looks like SolusOS
already has more users and bigger community.

@Willy
SolusOS has a much bigger community then Pardus or Anka.
Is high on the distro list, so in the picture

Anka can create the KDE (and maybe more if they like)

But think SolusOS has already more knowledge about creating a distro, so why not
create a repo that both can use? Work together is the solution here.

@Enki
Only Anka not has the community, knowledge that SolusOS has. Be happy that SolusOS
is maybe gonna using PISI. This can be the new Pardus we all be waiting for.

for what I have read the solusos team has a strong desire to colaborare with the anka project, so I think that just a stupid would refuse a collaboration. unity is strength.

I agree , although "unwise " would be a better word, in anycase I look forward to gaining and using ideas from both of them, "solus " has some nice thinking...

I have no idea who we are? Maybe you know.

And I think Ikey (of SolusOS) tell in one mail more about future plans, roadmaps, etc then
Anka have done in the last months.

I have more faith in Ikey and SolusOS. And I hope they are going to use PISI, so Anka can
also take avantage of it

And I think the same as Murat
