Nope!!

The creator of SolusOS is thinking about to use PISI as package system for SolusOS.
And if SolusOS and Anka create together a repo that both can use, then 2 worlds will
be happy.

All I try to say is that Ikey of SolusOS has a lot of knowledge. He already tweak PISI by
himself, etc. So he already has done more new in 2 weeks then Anka in few months.
Anka is more building packages, and that is also good. But SolusOS is more of develop
the PISI and YALI tools.

Why not stick to deb. packages?
(rpms not always compatible between distro's, and pisi...well the pro is the concept but the con is the lack of packages as compared to deb. packages)

I disagree with .deb packages or a debian-based distro because pardus/anka has his own personality and we have choose it, not the debian one. This is my thought.

Because SolusOS is now based on Debian. But that gives lot of troubles, need lot of fixing, etc. So that is why the creator of SolusOS is looking for something different. And that is PISI. And b.t.w. he also work for LinuxMint before, so he really got knowledge. And then all we have todo is building packages, so both can use them. SolusOS and Anka.

OK, makes sense (although I used to think that .deb packages do not give as much trouble as suggested here), it IS a very interesting development. However I am a bit reluctant as SolusOS concerns because so much seems to be dependent on just one excellent person? Or is that a statement you regard as too simplifed?
