Finally get to see what you are all talking about.  It was worth the wait!

Yes, I got the same error as atolboo when clicking on Licence texts:
unhandled exception occurred
class yali.gui.guierror
file usr/lib/python.2.7/site-packages/yali/gui/ScrLicense.py line 45 in show gpl
dialog dialog("GPL",LicenseBrowser(self),self)
as well as
line 67, in _init_ raise GUIError (msg)

Clicking on reboot in that window worked.

Package validation was successful.

Nice rose-pink and tan colours for yali installer and very nice icons, like the pardus-anka icon at "Get ready to install Pardus page".  Whoever did that did a great job.  And the icon set during yali install, like "Keyboard layout"  and "Choose your installation disk".  I had two partitions at end of second hard drive and let yali destroy the existing partitions and recreate partitions with ext4 f.s, otherwise I got the "unable to resolve uuid" error when installed to the existing partitions. Some of the text that went with the presentation during installing of packages needs to be updated, such as "Pardus 2011 is shipped with...", but as usual, as in previous Pardus, while packages are installed, the output is never boring. I had to grab my disc fast during 'restart' "please wait while restarting", as tray wants to close in one second after opening.

Upon reboot and grub menu, all operating systems were shown correctly in grub2 menu, on desktop machine with 2 hard drives (two linux distros on second hard drive and w8 devel on first hard drive.  This is big improvement over past Pardus grub recognizing other os's.  Maybe it is because pardus-anka now uses grub2.

During boot up of initial installation disc and during reboot after install, there is output of
"unknown group 'plugdev' in message bus configuration file"  just before it enters runlevel3.

Now for booting into my desktop after creating a user and passwords.  Kaptan is back and there are lots of fantastic wallpapers to choose from.  Very nice artwork here.  I chose kde honey theme, cool-looking kfaenza icon set, and anka-karma5 wallpaper with a eye-catching orange theme.

After getting my desktop fonts the way I prefer and setting up kppp, I'm ready to go.  I couldn't dial out for some reason.  Will have to look at that tomorrow, as it could be an error on my entering password or username.  I'm too tired, didn't sleep good.

I'm very impressed and hope to find bugs so they can be fixed.  Wink  Great job to all those that brought this to fruition!

Time to file a bug report for me.  I have just registered at the bugs.pardus-anka.org site after using google translate.  I can't dial out, ppp problem.

Edited: solved.  I used another os to download the same ppp version from pardus 2011 pisi packages and after logging into pardus-anka
cd to where I had downloaded the pisi file on my usb stick and then:
sudo pisi rm ppp --ignore-dependency
"Removing package ppp
Running pre removal operations for ppp
Installed file /var/run/ppp does not exist on system [Probably you manually deleted]
Running post removal operations for ppp
Removed ppp"
then:
sudo pisi install --ignore-dependency ppp-2.4.5-19-p11-x86_64.pisi
"Installing ppp, version 2.4.5, release 19
Extracting the files of ppp
Configuring ppp package
Configured ppp
Installed ppp"
and now there is a folder, /var/run/ppp

Ah, I didn't see that.  Thanks pantera.  And now I have two accounts for Flyspray bug reporting site.  Oops.  Embarrassed

I did find out what problem is with ppp.  For some reason, upon reboot, /var/run/ppp disappears.  I had to reinstall ppp again this morning and now kppp and wvdial work.  Later today will add that to my bug report when I find it listed.
Again, thanks pantera. and wonderful work done on this operating system!
