Hi all,
Just checking if others are getting system sounds? I am not.  I'm not sure if they are enabled, but I did the phonon speaker test and it doesn't give any output.  I'm used to the little tune at login and do not hear it.  On other hand. I am listening to a music CD in clementine after installing gst-plugins good, the bad, and the ugly + dependencies.
Thanks in advance for feedback!

Working now.  After doing a search here I installed kdebase-sounds and had to restart kmix from terminal as it disappeared from the panel.   So, no bug report to report.  Wink

you can always install kde.base

Code:
sudo pisi it -c desktop.kde.base

Thanks Yoyo!  I assume this will be part of final release?   I don't want to mess up possible bug finding on this alpha release.
I'm also finding bugs in other places, and maybe this would solve them.
Such as System Settings>Startup and Shutdown>Service manager where if I try unticking/stopping one of the running services I get segmentation fault/crash (e.g. untick Bluedevil 'stop') or message 'unable to stop Bluedevil.

P.S. edited, just did the command and I will have to wait on this as it says there is a needed 531.58MB of packages to install.  I'm sure some of them will fix some of my problems but I've already downloaded a bit too much this past month - my isp will have a fit.  Wink  Thanks, Yoyo.
