So after restoring my sound. MPlayer plugin in Firefox is not ready to the concept of having sound with a stream or playing some quicktime trailers.

When starting the Mplayer all is in Turkisch.

Any ideas?

You can install KMplayer via Pisi (sudo pisi it kmplayer), or package management, which will be in you local language.

Maybe you can try this for sound:

Hoi,

mplayerplug-in have some important GTK problems than Turkish letters. For this, you must make fullscreen whenever you start playing any video stream. When you see playing video you may return windowed mode. (This is not necessary when playing a quicktime trailer. You must  click right and say "play" simply  when plugin buffering.)

If you don't want to use Turkish, you may download and use my mplayerplug-in pisi:

If you'll have problems you'll be return original latest version from:

http://paketler.pardus.org.tr/pardus-2007 (notice! everything may be Turkish  )

Interesting. It seems like working. Not important. If your machine can't makes it , forget and sleep peacefully.

The plug-in works on same webpages that have video files and require wmp, qt, dvx, rm codecs for playing them. F.e:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/

mplayerplug-in doesn't change your mplayer language.
