A simple beryl installer application

Hi all;

I have just coded a simple beryl installation application. It just installs and uninstalls beryl only with 1 command
First, you should configure your xorg.conf for beryl. See: http://wiki.pardus-linux.nl/index.php/HOWTO:Installing_and_Using_Beryl

We can compile and install beryl;

Get beryl.py

Code:

wget http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/playground/eren/util/beryl.py

Be root

Code:

su

And install it

Code:

python beryl.py install

Some problem with starting beryl at the startup. Beryl won't start at the startup on my system and i think you won't be able to start it. To get rid of this stupid problem please choose your original window manager with  berly-manager before you shutdown your system.

And beryl may not be started at first,  beryl-manager may crash. It's not important, please run berly-manager twice with ALT + F2

which version will it install? I'm using the version 0.1.9999.2 available with pisibul...

i can't make it work. i installed it but beryl-manager won't start. i can configure it by beryl-settings, but i can't start it. and also maybe don't how to do it. please help me.

Try to start with:
<Alt><F2> and then you have to enter: beryl-manager

Am trying to install beryl through pisibul - but keep being told I need to enable buildno in pisi.conf to build beryl-core.

How do I do this?
