Hi there,

I have downloaded the NVU HTML editor on my Apple iMac (as a .pisi file) and put the file on an USB stick to transfer to Pardus 2007 (Pardus 2007 has no internet connection).

When I double click the .pisi file in Pardus 2007 (I moved it from the USB stick to the desktop first) package management tries to go online - with no luck ofcourse and installment of NVU is halted.

Is there a way to install NVU without package management going online?

Maybe you should try it from the commandline (konsole):
sudo pisi it nvu.....pisi
(you fill in, of course, the exact name of the .pisi-file.
If it didn't install by double-clicking, it will not install this way, but you'll get some error-messages, which will give you an idea of what is going wrong.
