I am having problems with word documents... if soured from MS word fonts are typically Times Roman or Arial.
Once opened with Openoffice on Pardus a font substitution by default.
MS users / authors no longer see the original format of their document.
Is there any way of installing the MS fonts into Openoffice?
Thanks, Andrew

Phix, unfortunately my college is responsible for the proxy systems. I don't have access to the company behind it. So no luck there.... When I click on http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/corefonts/ I get an error message... Network Access Message: The page cannot be displayed I remember editing my bashrc file when I was using Linux Mint KDE. I had to do it to get my package manager working through Konsole. That was because Adept or whatever updating software came with it didn't recognise the proxy settings from Konqueror and it didn't have a proxy configuration option in its preferences section. After that I was able to install and update packages through Konsole. Should I attempt the same with Pardus? I don't want to screw up my install by doing something stupid... PiSi works from Konsole for me. I think that's because I have set the proxy correctly through the PiSi graphical interface. Any suggestions?
