First of all I'd like to thank the Pardus team for offering such a great distro (I do mean it, Pardus is REALLY great!!!)
Then I shall expose all the troubles I faced :
* When I first tried to install Pardus 2007.1 I first got an error uncompressing a package, lzma if I remember well. I was forced to reboot and the second time I performed the "media check" and everything went well... Ain't it weird?
* Using hardaware labels to retrieve partitions is a very BAD idea when partitions are shared by several distros... After my install I was unable to login because I did not format my home partition (shared with my previous distro) which prevented YALI from setting its label to PARDUS_HOME thus causing a failure in mount... Hopefully I still had a working distro and I knew which file to edit (/etc/fstab) but that might not be the case of every end-user...
* The network configuration is great but there's something missing : graphical facilities for using ndiswrapper...
* There should be some tool to manage kernel modules (or alternatively configuration for ndiswrapper and nvidia/ATI drivers packages should take care of that aspect which may discourage newbies...
* As a Qt4 coder I think it's great to provide up to date pre-compiled devel packages but unfortunately they did not work well. My apps compiled but ran across several problems at run-time (segfault and weird gdb logs pointing to QCompleter...)
It's all I spotted so far. The last issue is anything but the least because the main use of linux for me is Qt4 coding... Anyway keep up the good work. I'll try to compile Qt from sources and tell you if it solves my problem.
