Hello,

I sit with the next problem.
I have got the task to test Pardus on the desktops at our work.
Because we have seven Citrix servers, a working ICA client is necessary.
I have tried  everything, include OpenMotif, but it still doesn't work.
Can someone tell me what to do?
Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

hello,

i got ICA10 running smoothly on pardus2007.1

I just downloaded and comlied openmotif from source: http://ftp.motifzone.com/om2.2.3/src/
actually it is just the libXm.so.3 file in /usr/lib thatis really important,

the linuxx.tar.gz containing the ica client: www.citric.com

. When i ran setuwfc as root everything went perfectly. it even integrated with KDE.

It is too bad that openmotif and ICA are not in the repositories.

*,

on the other hand it is also quite easy using the citrix JAVA client. I have been testing this on arch64 where I also couldn't get the ICA client installed and the JAVA client seems to be working fine out of the box.

You can get this client from the citrix site and just have to edit the <client>.html in examples to suit your configuration.
