Hi,
I'm just working my way through the software included on my fresh Pardus 2007.1 install and came across KNazar, which is new to me.
When I launched the programme I got a small icon in the Systray, but I've no idea what it's for or how to use it.
I Googled it but most of the responses were in Turkish and what I believe to be Dutch.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Hi Bahri16,
I did that already but it doesn't really tell me much about what the program is and what it does. Is it some sort of intrusion detection software or software firewall, for example?

"nazar" is a IMPORTANT part of turkish sozial kulture.

it is a symbol of an eye.

maybe similar to a little anti-voodoo. sorry i didnt know how to exlain.

The Nazar ia a amulet protections you against the evil eye, which superstition.
KNazar is a desktop toy and a joke of the programmers.
In Turkey some people connect a Nazar to everything

There is some discussion about naming the Pardus firewall KNazar, but untill this date KNazar is just a little joke  Smiley
