By accident I started a very long print job, what is the propper way to cancel/delete this job? Is there a print overview as there is in Windows?

Yes, in your system-tray is an icon of KjobViewer. Click on it and KjobViewer will open.
It is also possible to start KjobViewer from the menu.

I think KJobViewer only opens automatically when kprinter (the KDE print dialogue) is used for printing.

Another way to handle jobs is from the command line:
Code:
lpstat -a  # shows available printers
lpstat       # shows names of pending jobs
cancel psc_1315-212 # cancel the job of that name

You can also stop a print job through Tasma.  Just select  "Peripherals" and "Printers" and under the "Jobs" tab you can highlight and stop,  start,  restart or remove the print job.
